Even better: rumor has it that Clive Owen is in talks to play Leo. Count me in.

The job interview yesterday was nice, though I still didn't get the job - simply cause my french is very rusty. (And yes, I knew beforehead that good french was required, but was forced to apply anyway. I'll spare you the rant about the system here. :P) I have a few others lined up, though, so it's wait and see. :)

Heute klappt das mit den Photobucket-Clips schon besser. Allerdings kriege ich sie wohl, wie immer, nicht eingebettet, sondern ihr klickt bei Interesse einfach auf die Links, ok?

Eigentlich sollte man ja meinen, man lernt dazu, aber ich finde meine Clips fast immer zu kurz und hektisch. Vielleicht weil man doch die Angst schnell gefüllten Speicherkarten im Nacken hat? Keine Ahnung. Hier sind also meine Versuche, die Niagara-Fälle und die Stimmung bei den Spielen in Halifax einzufangen.

Schon gleich beim 1. Spiel gegen Finnland war super Stimmung. Im ganzen Fanblock? Nein, zwei stoffelige "Bauern" (natürlich keine Iserlohner von unserer Truppe) stehen da wie die Salzsäulen. Über mangelnde Unterstützung kann sich nu wirklich niemand, auch nicht unser lieber Herr Bundestrainer, beklagen. Die Kanadier waren ziemlich baff, wie man auch bei ner 5:1 Niederlage, in diesem Fall gegen Finnland, SO Stimmung machen kann. Beim einzigen gewonnenen Spiel der Vorrunde stand ja unser (Haie-) Torwart Robert Müller im Tor. Und er hat wirklich super gehalten und ist verdient Most Valuable Player geworden. Die Kanadier haben uns ja bei diversen Songs und Choreografien für - ich denke positiv - verrückt gehalten und haben teils Fotos oder Filmchen von uns gemacht. Manchmal kam man sich schon fast vor wie im Zoo, so haben die geguckt. Ich glaube, das Schlumpflied hat sie am meisten fasziniert. Dabei steht man manchmal sogar mit dem Rücken zur Manschaft *tztztz* Aber Spaß bringt das auf jeden Fall und ein gaaaaaaanz fürchterlicher Ohrwurm ist es auch =)

Why do people sometimes have to take everything personally? Tastes are different, everyone should know that, and I understand that it's not very pleasant to read or hear that someone dislikes something you love, but that's normal, that's life, isn't it? Freedom of speech. Why is it okay to praise someone or something, but at the same time a bunch of people jump right into your face when you state that you don't like it? Especially when it's something extremely popular, something you can't avoid anymore because it's literally everywhere you go and look. Like Doctor Who or Twilight or Harry Potter or Torchwood or whatnot.
I have to admit, even when I like or even love something, I can get a little pissed if it seems like the whole world is evolving around those things. Overkill. Too much information. Things tend to get used up for me.

People called actors I like ugly, disgusting and repulsive, usually just based on one picture. That's not nice, but hey - I like them, others do, so what? I just shrugged. It's a matter of taste. It also depends on the situation. I'm talking about a public forum here, not someone's personal journal.

Take it easy. Enjoy what you can, share it with the ones who also share your taste. Let others have their opinion.
